VIew Profile

Coffee is something that brings people together. It’s a chance to sit down, take it slow, and catch up on life. Thanks to Mt Zion Coffee, Tauranga-based youth with disabilities are able to have this experience every month.

Over the month of November, Mt Zion’s generous customers and their corporate partner, CSC Buying Group, paid-forward 20 coffees to charity partner, Recreate.

Recreate provides programmes across New Zealand for young people with disabilities. From cycling, to social outings, they create opportunities for these youth to come together and expand their life skills and experiences.

A coffee outing to Mt Zion is the perfect example of that. Enjoying a morning together, with a cup of New Zealand’s 4th best barista-made brew in hand (Matt, Mt Zion owner, came 4th in New Zealand in the barista championship) and chance to watch the world and spin yarns.

The perfect start to the day for anyone.
