No matter what’s going on in our lives, food is a constant need. We need to eat to fuel ourselves and be able to function.

To help women and children with a LOT going on, Love Rosie  (one of Tauranga’s most popular cafes for good reason) paid-forward 20 meals to Tauranga Women’s Refuge

These meals go a long way in supporting women who have a lot on their plate, giving them one less thing to have to think about while making them feel cared for.

Tauranga Women’s Refuge supports and helps women and children experiencing family violence. They offer safe havens for these mums and their little ones, and their vision is for all women and children in Aotearoa to live free from domestic and family violence.

To help Love Rosie provide so generously, Spark Business Hub Bay of Plenty have partnered with them, through donations. Together, they help offer care to local women and kids who need it most.

If you’d like to play a part in stories like this one, head to our marketplace to see where you can pay-it-forward. Whether it’s 50c or $5, it all adds up when we do it together.
