VIew Profile

Food is a basic necessity but it provides us with so much more than fuel. It provides us with joy, a chance to come together, and a feeling of being cared for. This rings especially true for recent recipients of meals, Homes of Hope.

Homes of Hope is a charity who look after children who have been impacted by trauma - providing them with foster care in whānau-style homes and therapeutic interventions. They were paid-forward 15 meals from Henry & Ted, which were distributed amongst their care houses for the children and caregivers.

“Our kids absolutely love it and feel special that they get to have cafe-prepared meals.” - Carena, Homes of Hope

Henry & Ted’s ‘cafe prepared meals’ are some of the best in the Bay. Known for their extensive brunch menu, cold brew on tap, and keto-friendly cabinet treats, we’re not surprised the kids loved it.

We want to say a big thank you to Henry & Ted, their generous customers and CSC Buying Group.

Henry & Ted’s own contributions, alongside their customers and corporate pay-it-forwards, mean they have paid-forward almost $2.5k worth of meals to date to those in need in our community. That’s a huge amount of impact and bellies filled.
