For many young people in Aotearoa, the chance to play sport isn’t guaranteed. The cost of gear, fees, and transport can often mean sitting on the sidelines instead of being out on the field. That’s why Level Playing Field exists - to remove those barriers so every rangatahi (young person) can experience the confidence, friendships, and opportunities that sport provides.

When Rugby Bricks, a Kiwi brand creating world-class kicking tees and gear, teamed up with Level Playing Field, it was about more than just supplying equipment. It was about showing young players that they are worth investing in, that their dreams matter, and that they deserve the same opportunities as anyone else.

One young player shared how much receiving his own Rugby Bricks tee meant to him:

“Getting my new kicking tee has made a huge difference in how I practice and play rugby, I really love it. I use it all the time with my Dad at the fields after school and it’s really helped me focus on improving my kicking technique. I would really like to do good in rugby and make top teams like Blues so having my own tee makes me want to practice more often and take it more seriously… Every session with my dad I spend on the field just feels special and the tee just makes it a lot better.”
