“Ever notice how a cup of coffee goes with every outfit? Really completes the look.” These are just some of the words of wisdom that come from Mount Zion Coffee at 27 Spring Street in Tauranga. Wow! They offer philosophy AND good coffee at their specialty coffee store! As well as making great coffee—and philosophising—the crew at Mount Zion Coffee can also serve you tasty treats to eat as well. These delicious eats can also be chosen to match your outfit 😊
Mount Zion Coffee (with the help of their customers) paid-forward five coffees—they gave them away free!—to five lucky people from Recreate Bay of Plenty. Recreate BOP is part of a large organisation, Recreate NZ, which offers programmes for young New Zealanders with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Their programmes fall under four categories: adventure, socialisation, recreation and education, so there is something for everyone!
Recreate BOP states that: “We promote healthy living, safe social spaces, and safe friendships,” and part of this conviviality was sharing in a coffee outing, care of Mount Zion Coffee! This treat made their day!
Working alongside such generous people and being in awe of the ways that people find to help each other, we are proud to have been a vehicle to help Mount Zion Coffee to pay-it-forward to Recreate BOP.
