Free website for Re-source, Hawke's Bay

Free for a lifetime too 🙌 thanks to the generosity of Rocketspark and OMG Solutions who teamed up for this act of generosity.

Never heard of Re-Source? They are a new charity based in the Hawke's Bay that:

• Connects people in need with preloved goods essential for living a healthy, productive life.
• Supplies community organisations with preloved goods needed to run their service or reduce costs.
• Inspires the community to donate unwanted goods, to reduce our local landfill and carbon footprint.
• Minimises waste by repairing, recycling, up-cycling or repurposing poor quality goods giving them a new life for people who need them.

And because they are so new, Nadine (the manager at Re-Source) spends anywhere between 50 to 70 hours per week working so Re-Source can meet as much need as possible, while also developing new processes and systems and growing and developing as a charity. Nadine said, "The website has made a profound difference to what we can do, freeing up all this money and time." 

To get funding for a big job like creating a website (valued at $2,500) would cost Nadine and the team so much more in time, applying for funding and grants where she can. After Re-Source has received the funding, they're also then entitled to write reports and keep the funders up to date with how everything is going, which all takes away from the time Nadine and the Re-Source team could be spending helping those who really need it in her community 💚
