Do you have a dream? Are there goals to achieve and places to go? Are you planning to be in a different place in a few years’ time? If you do, you’re not alone—there’s some kids in Northland  that have some pretty cool dreams too.

The I Have a Dream (IHAD) Foundation has mainly been working in Northland with their Navigators (mentors) helping the Dreamers (tamariki and rangitahi) with life coaching and after school activities so that the Dreamers can aim high and strive to achieve their dreams. Everyone works together over the long haul to make sure that the Northland Dreamers can achieve their dreams. Some artistic Dreamers recently studied Hundertwasser’s techniques, and a Year 7 and 8 holiday programme explored biodiversity at a local marine reserve. Go Dreamers!

Because IHAD relies on others to help them in their quest to encourage our young ones to dream big and go for gold in achieving them, Solomon’s Gold stepped up and generously paid-it-forward a $200 voucher for their products to IHAD.

You see, Solomon’s Gold founder, Clive Carroll, also had a dream—to make natural chocolate using cacao from the Solomon Islands so that he knew exactly what was going into his products. And this dream became a reality, with Solomon’s Gold now producing artisan chocolate from its base in Mount Maunganui. Their products are certified vegan and organic, and they focus on sustainability. So, Clive was happy to encourage IHAD Dreamers as well.

If you’re dreaming of chocolate, why not go to Solomon’s Gold website (or other outlets) and purchase some of their yummy products. And you can add to the pay-it-forwards when you do!
