Being diagnosed with breast cancer is a challenging and emotional time for anyone. Coping with the physical and emotional impacts of the disease, as well as the financial burden it may bring, can be overwhelming.

Fortunately, for those in the Bay of Plenty, Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga (BCSS) provides practical and emotional support to those impacted by breast cancer.

With the help of support workers who have undergone breast cancer treatment themselves, BCSS provides emotional and practical assistance such as social outings, support groups, frozen meals, oncology massages, pilates classes, and more. They also provide fuel vouchers to alleviate some of the financial burdens.

Thanks to Z Energy's pay-it-forwards, they donated $300 worth of fuel vouchers to BCSS. The fuel vouchers are essential in helping clients access the necessary treatment during these challenging times

To make an even greater impact, Tauranga-based businesses S&L Land Specialists and Spark Business Hub BOP also generously contributed to the total paid-forward.

The support from organisations like BCSS and the generosity of companies like Z Energy, S&L Land Specialists, and Spark Business Hub BOP make a significant difference in the lives of those diagnosed with breast cancer in the Bay of Plenty region.
